Return Policy

Returns & Refunds

We want you to love your art, but if it’s not quite right for your space, no problem. You can return your order for a full refund within 14 days of delivery.

Please read the full policy below for details and instructions.

What You Need to Know

  • Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery (based on your tracking).

  • Returns are only accepted for items in original condition and packaging.

  • Return shipping costs are your responsibility and are non-refundable.

  • Our returns address is in the UK. For our USA customers, we’ll provide you with our USA returns address for convenience — do not return items to the sender address on the parcel.

  • We have return facilities in both the UK and USA. You’ll be directed to the most appropriate location.

  • Always include your order number and name inside the return packaging — missing details may delay or prevent your refund.


Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Personalized, bespoke, or custom pieces

  • Gift cards or items purchased using a gift card

  • Complimentary, replacement, or goodwill items

  • Items returned damaged or not in original condition


How to Start a Return

Email us at support@melroseeditions.com with your order number and reason for return. We’ll be happy to help resolve your query or simply send you the return address and instructions.


Refund Timeline

  • Once we receive and check your return, we’ll email you to confirm.

  • Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 10 business days.

  • In rare cases, payment providers may take longer to finalize the refund. If it’s delayed, check with your bank or card provider before contacting us.


Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Mistakes are rare, but we’re here to put things right quickly.

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 14 days of delivery at support@melroseeditions.com with:

  • Your order number

  • Your full name

  • Clear photos of the item and packaging

  • A description of the issue

We’ll arrange a free replacement once the issue is verified.

Please note: Replacements are offered in these cases — not refunds.

If you later wish to return the item instead, both the original and the replacement must be returned for a refund to be issued.


Craftsmanship Promise

Each Melrose Editions piece is made to order and handled with care. Minor variations or subtle marks may be present on your piece — these are part of the handmade process and give each artwork a unique character. If something feels off, though, let us know — we’re here to help.


Cancellations

If you'd like to cancel or amend your order, please contact us as soon as possible by email at support@melroseeditions.com. Changes or cancellations can only be made within 2 hours of placing your orderUnfortunately, we cannot cancel an order once it is in production so please check your order carefully before placing. If cancellation isn’t possible, you may return the item once delivered, in line with our return policy.


Exchanges

We understand that choosing the perfect piece of art can be a personal decision, and sometimes a change of mind happens.

As each item is handcrafted to order, we kindly ask that you get in touch with us first if you're considering an exchange. We’ll guide you through the best and most convenient option based on your order—especially for larger items, which may carry significant return costs.

Whether you'd like to switch to a different size, frame, or artwork, we're happy to help you find the right fit.
